Starch is Worse Than Fat

Starch, not fat, is the biggest threat to health as starch turns into sugar 15 minutes after ingestion. This is the cause of the rise in diabetes – which affects one in five to six people in the world. People cannot store sugar because sugar inside the body is absolutely toxic. So, what happens? It either tries to dilute itself by making you thirsty to flush the sugar out or turns it into fat. This creates inflammation and leads to diabetes, obesity, hypertension and many more chronic diseases.

It is believed that people consume an average of 50 teaspoons of sugar daily, which includes the intake of carbohydrates as well. Most forms of carbohydrate consumed these days is in the form of starch that turn into refined sugar, examples are rice, pasta, white bread and noodles. Did you know that a bowl of rice is the chemical equivalent of 10 teaspoons of sugar!!! Nobody would ever consume 10 teaspoons of sugar at a time but we do it when we have 2 or 3 servings of rice or pasta and most people don’t even know that it’s sugar because we are accustomed to think that sugar is only in candy, cake or chocolate - so this may be news for some of us.

Many reasons cause diseases, like genetics, lack of exercise, stress/worry, air toxicity; however, the type of food people consume is the biggest factor. There are many misconceptions relating to obesity and diabetes and one of the biggest is fat, which is bad for you. Twelve years ago inflammation was the on the cover of Time magazine as the secret killer, and we know the dangers of inflammation then society believed they had to be been on low-fat diets so but the increase of the obesity rate is astonishing. Starch always comes with fat like bread and butter - it goes hand in hand. People have cut the fat but are still gaining more weight. iGalen is on a mission to alert the masses to the dangers of diabetes, and other chronic diseases.

Now, for the first time ever, a group of Nobel prize nominated scientists in Florida have developed and patented the world’s first all-natural carbohydrate manager containing a botanical mix called Emulin® that helps your body manage refined carbohydrates - both proactive and reactive and good for all.
